Angus & Robertson, Melbourne, 1965. reprint. Hardcover. Very Good Condition/Good. XIV, 294pp., foreword by The Right Hon. R. G. Menzies, author's foreword, acknowledgements, appendix and list of illustrations. Black and white photographic frontispiece and black and white photography illustrates the text. End papers are illustrated by maps, both different, front endpaper illustrated by map of the Murray Valley, and back endpaper illustrated by a map of Australia. Written for the golden jubilee of Mildura and Renmark, Australia's first irrigation colonies founded by the Chaffey brothers in 1887. the dustjacket quite chipped across the bottom age with loss and chipped and torn across. It is found in dark red cloth, slightly bumped at the heel of the spine. Internally, there is no damage to report. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Please refer to accompanying picture (s).
