Farson, a journalist, "TOOK PART in the Russian Revolution; WITNESSED violence in India and the arrest of Gandhi; FOUGHT with the Royal Flying Corps; SAILED his own boat across Europe; LIVED as a backwoodsman in British Columbia; SOLD oil in New York, trucks in Chicago, chain in Manchester and arms in Moscow; and was ON THE SPOT as a top foreign correspondent during most of the major events between the two World Wars." (God only knows what he could have done if he didn't have to stop to capitalize everything.) This edition abridged by the author. Spine a bit cockedl, nicks to spine ends, soiled/tanned edges, impressions/rubbing, crease to top right corner of front cover, tanned pages, foxing to inside covers..
