Grosset & Dunlap, 1957. Hardcover. Excellent/Very Good Plus. 7x5x1. Leonard Vosburgh. Vintage Hardback Book with Dust Jacket is in Very Good Plus condition with a tight binding and clean crisp internal text. Inside text is in Excellent condition and appears to be Unread and Unused! . No marks or writing in the book. Outside cloth covers are very nice. Dust Jacket is in Very Good to Very Good Plus condition with very minor wear and edge chipping. One very small piece missing from the bottom of the outside spine area. Dust Jacket is now covered by a new clear mylar cover. Book Club Edition. This is NOT an ex-library book, but has come from a private collection. We Were There Books are easy to read and provide exciting, entertaining stories, based upon true historic events. Fact is stranger than fiction and a combination of both is better still. Against a carefully authenticated background, each of these books tells the exciting story of two young persons' adventures during some of history's most dramatic events- written by top authors, and illustrated by top artists Each story is checked for factual accuracy by an outstanding authority on this particular phase of history. Though written simply enough for young readers, they make interesting reading for boys and girls well into their teens. One of our family's favorite series! A nice BOOK!
