About This Item
Boston: Little, Brown. Very Good+ in Very Good+ dust jacket. 1945. First Edition. Hardcover. Salmon cloth stamped in blue, titled in gilt. Stated first edition. This book was signed by James Hilton to the half title page, and inscribed to the ffep for Walter (Wanger) , previous owner, noted film producer. The gift inscription may be by someone besides Hilton. This book was later donated by Wanger to Occidental College library, so there is a library "gift" stamp and number to the cp, and pencilled call number at rear, no other library markings. Spine ends mildly softened, perhaps a trifle cocked, else firm and otherwise unmarked. The DJ in mylar with $2.50 flap price intact is mildly toned, chipped at spine head. ; 8vo 8" - 9" tall; Signed by Author .
