Tokyo: Tokyo-News Co., 1958. 1st 1st Printing. Hardcover. Fair/No Jacket. First printing, first English-language edition printed in 1958. First Japanese edition was 1957. 98 pp., profusely ill. with b&w photos, some color plates, oversize (4to) hardcover, no dust jacket. A Fair text with no owner's marks, no tears to contents, minor soiling and wear to extremities. Front inner hinges are cracked but binding holding well. Rear hinges are very good. The top-right corner of the front cover has been repaired. A decent copy of this scarce and important early karate book.
