[1] half-title; illustrated frontice; title page; publisher's page; dedication; vii-x; pp.1-227; [2]/ Illustrated endpapers. Light blue cloth with gilt dog and bird design. Gilt spine design with title, author, illustrator and small fix design. Some rubbing discolouration to spine and small stain to left side of front cover. Bumping to corners and some shelf wear to top and tail of spine. Interior pages are clean and bright. Gilt upper page edges.
Where the Blue Begins is a satirical fantasy, focusing on Mr. Gissing, a gentled of leisure, living in the esteemed area of Canine Estates. Despite reaching handsome income of 1,000 bones a year, there is something missing from Gissing's life. After becoming bored with his comfortable life, Gissing ventures out to search for "where the blue begins", his own purpose to life.
Christopher Morley (1890-1957) was an American journalist, poet, essayist and novelist. Morley is author of over 100 novels, essay collections and poetry books, and is best know for the novels The Haunted Bookshop and Parnassus on Wheels.
