Highlands, NC: Jargon Society, (1986). Second Edition. Original wraps. Very good. 134p large octavo, illustrated with color photographs by Ernest Mickler. A very good copy in colorful printed wraps, spiral binding and clearly used as a cook book showing off a few stains on the first few pages bleeding into the foredge., offset to inside rear cover. Nicely inscribed by Mickler "To Bill, Ernest Matthew Mickler Jacksonville 86 Good White Trash Cookin to you"

Synopsis

Ernest Matthew Mickler received a master’s degree in fine arts from Mills College before embarking on his true mission as a culinary cultural preservationist. Ernie died in 1988, but his classic cookbook, and all the stories enshrined within its pages, live on.
