New York: 'Random House, 1939. 1st Edition . Hardcover. Good/Very Good. Stated first printing book. Cover bright, having been protected by a jacket, but edges worn. Repaired at front hinge. Marks to pastedowns, where jacket had formerly been pasted down at flaps. Jacket also shows removal damage to verso of flaps; repair to jacket at spine tip and corners, else a rather handsome jacket. Price of $2.50 on front flap.
Synopsis
If I Forget Thee, Jerusalem is a novel by the American author William Faulkner published in 1939. The novel was originally published under the title The Wild Palms, which is the title of one of the two interwoven stories. This title was chosen by the publishers, Random House, over the objections of Faulkner's choice of a title.
