New York: Viking Press, 1987. First Revised Edition. Very good in 1/4 white and decorated brown cloth covered boards with gilt text on a title block on the spine. A small quarto of 9 1/4 by 6 1/2 inches with minor spots of foxing to the end sheets and to the edges of the text block. In a very good, unclipped dust jacket with light soiling to the panels and spine area. 332 pages including an index, bibliography, reference notes, appendices and text.Illustrated with line drawings by Bob Hines, a map, eight color plates and a section of black andwhite photographs. Originally published in 1959 this is the revised and updated edition.
