Two volumes of limited edition studies of these major figures in the Arts and Crafts movements, signed by the authors. Two first edition studies, in the publisher's original unclipped dust wrappers decorated with William Morris' 'Willow' design.The first work present is Peter Stansky's account of textile designer, artist and poet William Morris' role in the Arts and Crafts movement. Signed by Stansky, this is number 74 of 500 copies printed. Stansky is a professor of British History at Stanford University.The second work is Dorothy A. Harrop's biography of the life of English engraver, photographer and printer Sir Emery Walker. This is number 278 of 350 copies printed, and is signed by Harrop, a lecturer on the subject of Bibliography. In the publisher's original paper wraps, with unclipped dust wrappers. Both in excellent condition. Internally, firmly bound. Pages clean and bright. Both volumes signed to final page. Fine

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
