George Bell and Sons, 1898. Hardcover. Good. 1898. Second Edition Revised. 462 pages. No dust jacket. This is an ex-Library book. Blue cloth with gilt lettering to spine. Contains black and white photographic frontispiece, with other plates. Book has been rebound by library, with expected inserts, stamps and inscriptions. Pages are lightly tanned and foxed, but text remains clear. Binding is firm. Boards have light shelf-wear, with minor corner bumping and minimal scuffing to edges. Minor crushing to spine ends. Gilt remains bright. A few marks overall, with a more prominent brown mark to front board.
