Synopsis

The Man Without A Country, written by Edward Everett Hale in 1863 and originally published in Ticknor and Fields’ magazine, The Atlantic Monthly, follows American Army lieutenant Philip Nolan. The Man Without A Country  was first published in the December 1863 issue of  Ticknor and Fields' magazine: The Atlantic Monthly, Devoted to Literature, Art and Politics,  number 74 of Volume XII (pg 665-796 with the following two pages having an index for Volume XII). Only in the index is Hale attributed for the short story.
