New York: The Century Company, 1897. First Edition, First Printing. Good copy. Inscribed, signed, and dated by Zangwill on dedication page. Inscription says "In Memory of a Pleasant One-Night Stand" and dated Sep 7/98. In peach cloth covers with green lattice border design and stamped gilt lettering on front cover and same but faded on spine. Uncut edges. Square and intact binding. Clean and unmarked pages with random light foxing. Previous owner's name on ffep. Bumping of ends of spine, Small stain on front cover. Moderate shelf wear. Photos upon request. . Hardcover. 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall.
