Chicago: The Prairie Farmer, 1936. Paperback. Small 4to. Stiff glazed pictorial wrappers. 48pp, 48pp, 48pp, 56pp, 52pp, 48pp, 487pp. Numerous illustrations. Very good overall. Slight bit of faint wear to outer wrappers (only). A tight and handsome grouping of this interesting annual booklet from the days when this radio station was THE rural station for farmers to listen to as they milked the cows. Features photographs of the staff ("Our Office Girls," etc.), the "talent" (including a juvenile "Georgie" Goebel), show profiles, etc. A great period piece, with volumes covering the years 1936, 1938, 1939 (lacks rear wrapper), 1940, 1941, 1942 and 1951.
