Frontispiece, engraved plates and b&w illustrations in the text. 8vo, pp.313:[16, publisher's catalogue], original green cloth blocked in red and black; binding rubbed and dusty, some foxing, one gathering detached. Untidy contemporary ink inscription on endpaper dated 1896, together with ink ownership stamps (one perforated).
