About This Item
New York, NY Atheneum, 1973. Hardcover First Edition [1973], so stated. Near Fine in Very Good+ DJ: The Book shows only minute indications of use, but does show foxing at the fore-edge and a little less at the bottom edge and just a touch at the bottom and top edges of the buckram over boards; the binding is square and secure; the text is clean. The DJ shows a tiny, closed tear at the top edge of the front panel; the price has been clipped; the green background field of the backstrip has been very lightly sunned, but the titles thereon remain unaffected: bold and clearly legible; mylar-protected. No longer 'As New', but remains close to it. NOT a Remainder, Book-Club, or Ex-Library. Large 4to. 467 pages. Quarter Cloth Buckram over Boards. Liberally illustrated with photographs in black & white. Cover jacket Art by LeRoy Neiman. Hardback with DJ.
