London, Cassell & Company Limited,1892 Hardcover book , First edition in blue buckram with gilt top edge and titles. 427 pages with 12 page publisher's catalogue at rear. Illustrated by William Hole and W.L. Metcalf. All plates present. A Very Good copy. Slight darkening to Spine and top edge. light rubbing and very slight fraying to same. Previous owners armourial book plate to front paste down- Arthur Godley. Light foxing to prelim pages but otherwise pages clean. At the rear of the text is fixed a early book shop receipt and the price of 21/- . Rear hinge is stretched showning webbing. Pictures available.
