Reader reviews for X: Emergence (A Time of X)

From the publisher

The world in not black and white. At least this one isn't. The one about which I hear and in which Nehlio Ehron X thrives, is a nightmare of soul-encompassing blackness that is lit only by brief exciting moments of color. It's this color that drives the 16 year-old into growing into something more than a man. As a new kind of empath N.E.X finds himself in the secret Pittsburgh underworld, attempting to eliminate those vile creatures that are less than human. Nehlio will allow nothing, not even gravity, to prevent him from shining a colorful light in the dark spaces. The pitfall is that while shining that light, it may prove impossible for him to remain in it himself.

About the author

Aaron Wright was not supposed to be an author. He had never considered himself a story teller or writer but a long terrible bout of insomnia led the young man to begin trying any technique that might lull him to sleep. The one that seemed to be most effect was that of telling himself stories at night. It was only after a chance conversation about story telling that Aaron considered writing his "therapy" down. And so "X: Emergence" is his first attempt to bring to life on the page those characters that had become so important to him. The hope is that you will come to love them as he has because, after all, true power comes from love.
