About This Item
Paris: Librairie de Firmin-Didot et Cie, 1880. Hardcover. Very Good. Half maroon morocco and marbled paper over boards, gilt-stamped lettering on spine; large 4to; untrimmed edges, pp. [6], viii, [4], 580, plus 16 full-color chromolithographic and 20 wood-engraved plates, as well as wood-engraved illustrations in text. Some light rubbing and scuffing along spine and edges of boards; scattered foxing throughout, mostly marginal, rarely -- or only slightly -- affecting the images. An excellent copy.
