Dublin : Hodges Figgis & Co, [1934]. First edition. Paperback. Very Good Indeed. 7.5" by 5". None. A signed first edition of this very scarce play written by the Earl of Longford. The first edition. Very scarce. Signed by the author to the title page. This play was written by the Earl of Longford, Edward Arthur Henry Pakenham. Pakenham was also an Irish politician and author, with this tragic work being one of a couple of plays written by the Earl.Undated, dated by copies held on Jisc. In the original publisher's paper covers. Externally very smart with joints starting to the head, the odd minor mark and slight fading to the extremities of the covers and spine. Internally firmly bound with clean and generally bright pages with minimal age toning. Tidemarks to the head of the last few pages. The odd spot to the fore edge. Very Good Indeed

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
