New York: Harper & Row, 1971. Hardcover. Near Fine/very good -. [12], 192, [4] p.; 21 cm. Off-white cloth with red spine title. Red endpapers. Dust jacket. The author, former editor of Harper's Magazine, visited his hometown Yazoo, Mississippi, in 1969 and 1970. In this book he reported on "Yazoo as a symbol and a crucible of the American South's agony of the soul in facing the implications of massive school integreation as ordered by" the U.S. Supreme Court. -- dust jacket. Book is in Near Fine Condition: slightly cocked; clean and tight. Dust jacket is in Very Good- Condition: closed 2-cm. tear from lower edge at spine; clean and bright.
