London, Methuen, 1952.. FIRST EDITION 1952, 8vo, 220 x 140 mm, 8½ x 5½ inches, blue cloth lettered pale blue, 215 pages. Vignettes throughout by E.H. Shepard. Verse and prose described by Milne as 'disconnected ideas', chapters named after the months. 4 mm (¼") strip faded along lower edges of covers, no inscriptions. Very good plus copy in VG+ DUSTWRAPPER (dw: price clipped, a very tiny chip at top of each hinge, 1 small water spot near tail of spine).
