A collection of poetry written during the period from the end of the Boer War until the end of the First World War. The poems include: The Choice, The Dead King, A Death-Bed, The Declaration of London, The Female of the Species, and many others. Written by Rudyard Kipling, an English novelist, poet, and journalist, best known for his work The Jungle Book. Thirty-two pages of publisher's catalogue to the rear. In the original red cloth binding. Externally, very smart with light shelf wear and fading to the spine. Original unclipped dust wrapper is sound with chipping tot he extremities and the odd closed tear. One 2" closed tear to the head of the spine. Sunning to the spine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean throughout. Much of the textblock remains unopened. Very Good

Based in the literary city of Bath, our offices are housed in the Eastern Dispensary. Built in 1845, the building originally existed as a charitable institution providing medical care. The building now houses our collection of over twenty thousand books and has five full time members of staff.
