There is a short historical introduction to each chapter, and all the illustrations are fully captioned. See what life was like before 1960. There is a small owner name at the top edge of the half title, else this is a clean, tight and unmarked book with no interior or exterior markings. The dust jackt has some wear and a short piece of tape at the top edge of the spine, but is still in functional and in decent condition.
