About This Item
Tralee, Ireland: The Kerryman Ltd, 1944. Boards. Very Good/Very Good. The 1944 1st edition of this "History of 'The Nation' Newspaper, the Young Ireland Movement and the '48 Rising". Solid and VG (former owner blindstamp at the title page, mild browning to the pages) in a bright, VG dustjacket, with very light chipping at the spine ends and along the tips, and one closed tear running along the upper 1/3 of the rear panel. Still though, very presentable. Thick 12mo, dozens of full-page plates complementing O'Sullivan's text.
