London: Humphrey Milford Oxford Univ. Press. Good in Fair dust jacket. 1924. Reprint. Hardcover. 160 p. 21 cm. Sound and square binding in illustrated, paper-covered boards. Corner tips are worn through. Spine ends worn with missing piece of paper at head. Lower board has fading where jacket piece is missing. Gift inscription dated 1927 of front endpaper. Offsetting to endpapers. Occasional light soil to page margins, with heavier soil to Contents page. Otherwise, pages are unmarked and bright. Dustjacket has paper loss to both edges, affecting the titles on front panel and spine. Rubbed along the flap folds. Spine and part of rear panel are sunned. A boy's adventure story set in the early 19th century. Illustrated with a colour frontispiece and pen and ink internals. .
