New York: Times Books / Random House, 1993. 1st Edition. Hardcover. Very Good/Very Good. 1st Printing Stated First Edition plus complete number line including the number one. Hard cover in very good condition with black boards, black spine cloth with gold gilt lettering, and an embossed stylized b (the Bloomingdale b) on front board. Text block clean & tight. Contains a sixteen page section of glossy black & white photos. Several black & white illustrations of comics from newspapers that mention Bloomingdales. Between the half-title page and title page there is a two page spread depicting, in black & white, shopping bags from the various country promotions featured from 1961 to 1991.( The 1991 bag was the only one pulled from the stores at request of the Italian government due to what was considered an irreverent phrase ""In Pizza We Trust."") Spread is repeated again at end of book. Total 428 numbered pages. Dust jacket in very good condition showing only light shelf & edge wear; not price clipped. Additional photos on back of dust jacket; see photo.
