Banca Commerciale, Italiana, Rome, 1960. First Edition. Hardcover. Good Condition/Slipcase. Illustrator: Photographic & Illustrations. This set is three separate pieces:  XVII Olympiad - Rome 1960  History of the Games 216, [4] pages. The text is illustrated with black-and-white photographs. 1/4 gray coloured cloth covered back strip. 3/4 white coloured textured boards with copper coloured titles to the front panel. XVII Olympiad - Rome 1960:  Olympic Guide-Book, 135, [4] pages. The text is illustrated with coloured illustrations, black-and-white illustrations and colour and black-and-white photographs. At the rear of the book is a foldout programme and map of the various venues position. Photographic paperback binding with white coloured titles to the front panel. XVII Olympiad - Rome 1960  Results:- 45, [3] pages. Plain card cover with copper coloured titles to the front panel. Plain gray coloured slipcase. A trio of booklets put out to coincide with the 17th Olympic Games that were held in Rome in 1960 in their as issued slipcase. Of note is the Result book has been unused. History of the Games:  Creasing of the lower book corners with rubbing of the book edges and panels. Scattered foxing to all surfaces, including the text block edges. The internal pages are clean and bright, though there are a few marks to the end pages. Guide-Book  creasing of the corners and rubbing of the book edges and panels. There is a reading crease to the back strip. A few chips along either side of the back strip and faint age toning and foxing to the text block edges. Faint foxing can be seen to the pages. Results  Minor creasing of the book corners with rubbing of the book edges and panels. Heavy foxing to the book panels with some rusting to the staples that hold the book together. Slipcase - Chipping to the book corners along with rubbing along all edges of the slipcase. There has been a slight bulge to the back strip, causing a gap at the top and bottom. Scattered foxing to all edges. Size: 8vo - over 7¾" - 9¾" tall. Please refer to accompanying picture (s). Illustrator: Photographic & Illustrations. Quantity Available: 1.
