Inscribed by the author on the title page. ; B&W Photographs; Small 4to 9" - 11" tall; 185 pages; This autobiographical account follows the lives of three generations of the Lundgren family who arrived in Canada from Sweden in 1908. They ended up in the small community of Lake Cowichan on Vancouver Island. The accounts are taken from memory and from work diaries of the three generations of men who worked as loggers. .
