About This Item
London: William Hone, 1819. Twenty-fourth Edition. NA. Fair. 8vo. 21.5 by 13 cm. Unpaginated, 24 pages, including front and back. Series of light verse, ending generally with the same three lines: "That plunder the Wealth,/ That lay in the House,/ That Jack Built." Trenchant satire of political leaders, and George IV. First blank leaf brittle, heavily age toned. Few pages with chips, mostly around lower joint. Bottom thread binding pamphlet is gone, so looseness at bottom. Scattered soiling.
