London: Printed for C. Bathurst, et All, 1773. Small Octavos. . In 8 volumes, portrait frontispiece of Shakespeare at the age of 40 and two title pages in volume 1, with other portraits by J. Hall. The last volume contains a bibliography of early editions (commencing with the Jaggard canon). It is divided into three sections, headed: 'Editions of authority, of middle authority and of no authority. The latter includes Rowe's edition (with presumably the biography) of 1709. The British Museum set bears MS. notes of S.T. Coleridge.
