1938. Trade Paperback. Typed letter signed, on Los Angeles Times letterhead, dated January 3, 1938, addressed 'Dear Mr. (Edward F.) O'Day.' Letter thanks O'Day for a essay O'Day, as editor, had written for the State Bar Journal and inquires about other essays by O'Day. Edgar Vincent Durling (1893-1957) was a columnist for the Los Angeles Times 1936 to 1939, writing a column called 'On the Side.' Letter previously folded with some wear. About 60 words.
