About This Item

No Dust Jacket

Book:
General wear and tear to an 8-decade-old paperback. The panel edges are curled and have rubs and toning to all exposed surfaces (photo). The pages are moderately and uniformly toned, with no marks or entries. The panels and spine junction are still strong and sturdy with no evidence of having been mended. A reader need not be concerned with the fragility of the book.

An Internet search shows the following: Scottie's distinctive and misspelled autograph on the first free endpaper (photo) is identical to the one other example of the protagonist's signature written 30 years earlier.

All pages are present and the numerous inked illustrations of the Castle's furnishings are clear and distinct (photo).
