Westminster: Society's Office, 1914. Cloth. Very Good. 7.5" by 5". Not Stated. A scarce copy of this illustrated account of missionary work in the North of India. Scarce work. Illustrated with a frontispiece, a map, and thirty-one in-text and full-page images. Collated complete. An account of some of the missionary work supported by the Society for the Propagation of the Gospel in the North of India, with reference to groups in Delhi, Cawnpore, Calcutta, Chota Nagpur, and Ahmadnagar, With the exception of the final chapter, this work was compiled by the Reverend Herbert Moore, a British minister. In the original full blue cloth binding. Externally, smart with rubbing to the extremities. Fading to the spine and the odd small mark to the boards. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are very bright and clean. Light age toning to the endpapers with a contemporary ink inscription to the front endpaper, dated 9th October 1920. Very Good
