Born November 25th, 1862 near Pittsburgh. MOSTLY TOLD BY Nevin and his wife throughout. Pictures and music for songs all through. Ethelbert Woodbridge Nevin, 1862-1901, American composer born in Edgewerth Pennsylvania; debut as pianist, Pittsburgh (Dec. 10, 1886); excelled in lyrical music, composing 70 songs, published in Sketch Book (1888), Water Scenes (1891), In Arcady (1892), May in Tuscany (1896), A Day in Venice (1898).
