Despite their individual pagination, they were published as a single work.With the inscription 'Mr William Eastwood's Book' to the recto of a front blank.Rebound, with endpapers removed.With an index to the rear.A very scarce guide to two towns in the early nineteenth century: Rochdale in Lancashire, and Saddleworth in York. Rebound in cloth backed paper covered boards, with endpapers renewed. Contemporary inscription to the recto of a front blank. Externally, fine. Internally, firmly bound. Pages significantly age toned, with handling marks and the odd spot throughout. Small closed tears to fore edges of leaves. Very Good

Contemporary half calf with marbled boards, very expertly re-backed. Covers a bit dull and rubbed, name inside, some staining mainly to the endpapers, but very sound condition. Bound at the back is Tabula Mancuniensis a rare 16 page pamphlet by Butterworth published in 1829 listing chronological events in the history of Manchester.
