Very good, free of former owner writing or bookplates. Front and rear inside joints has usual heavy tone, small wear to edges of boards. Gilt lettering/design on front board and spine are still easy to read. Lower front board has a ring mark along with surface stains to both lower and upper front board with some extending around lower spine and rear board. Note, these stains did not damage the cloth.
