First edition, first printing. 240pp. In grey cloth boards, red and black lettering on spine. 8vo. Boards a tad rubbed and rounded at corners and spine ends, slightly sunned on spine. Upper text block edge a little dust darkened. Previous owner's name, dated 1954, neatly inked on front free endpaper. Small bookseller's ticket on front paste down, else internally neat, clean and tight. In its original, colourful dust jacket, very slightly rubbed on corners. Dust jacket now protected in a Brodard-style sleeve, fitted without the use of tape or adhesives.
