Nicely and attractively bound contemporary half burgundy calf over grained pink cloth boards with double tan lettering pieces. Top edges gilt, other uncut. The bindings by Sotherans, Piccadilly. Some light foxing to prelims. Very minor light chipping to a few headbands, some edge rubbing, darkening to second compartment of the spine of "The Maid of Sker". All half-titles retained by the binder. Each front fly inscribed "Emily Kenrick from Uncle George, Xmas 1905"; a lucky girl & a very generous Uncle! Very unusual to find such a uniformly bound "set" of his works.
