Winrod, was an American fundamentalist evangelist, author, and controversial publisher involved in political activism during WWII. While opinions differ as to his character, Winrod was accused of anti semitic and neo-Nazi views. He was indicted by the federal government for sedition in the Great Sedition trial of 1942-1944, which was later dismissed after a sudden heart attack and death of the presiding judge caused a subsequent mistrial. <br><br>Red paper covers with title and graphic; previous owner's name and stamp on front endpaper. Clean, unmarked text. 40 pp. Full refund if not satisfied.

He was known to have strongly antisemitic views, which, along with his sympathies towards Nazi Germany in the 1930s, earned him the nickname "the Jayhawk Nazi" which he proudly acknowledged.
