Hardcover, signed first edition, limited to 300 copies of which this is copy number 060. Great cloth boards are clean but show some rubbing to the edges and corners. The internal binding is good and text pages are tight. The front pastedown has the numbered certificate which is signed by the author pasted in place. The opposite end page has a small spot where the glue carried over from when it seeped out from under the certificate. The rest of the pages are marking free with no handwriting, no smudge is, nothing torn or loose. A strong VG, borderline VG+. We acquired a large collection of chess books over 40 years ago, most of which were kept packed away until the time of this listing - which is why the condition is like a newer book.
