Early (originally folded) Birdseye view of Boston Harbor and neighboring surrounding areas and cities towns. Published 1871 this is an original illustration published over 145 years ago, not a modern reprint. Very good condition with a few small holes around the center top and bottom now I look closely. Somewhat animated with sailing ships and steamers in the bay, construction areas here in there what looks to be like oarsman in boats along the Charles River, lots of smaller towns and ponds, Boston and Providence railroad, Boston and Worcester railroad, Fitchburg railroad, Boston and Lowell Road, Boston and Maine railroad, eastern railroad, old colony and fall river railroad, Dorchester in Milton Road, Boston Hartford and Erie where Road, possibly a few others.
