This is a story of the Arabian Peninsula in the early days of the oil discoveries and the fights between Bedouin Kings and Corporate heads over oil rights/concessions. In this story a young man goes to a place that could be Yemen in search of his long vanished father who is an oil explorer and Arabist. The longer the boy stays in the region the more he becomes more like his father but his quest is for water for the Bedouin tribes which presents many twists and turns for him to achieve his goal. A clean very presentable copy.
