Hardcover with dust jacket, blue cloth boards with gilt on front and spine. First edition, with copyright page stating "This is a copy of the First Edition" and showing the single printing date of July, 1927. The original price of $2.50 still present on the front flap. DJ is in very rough shape with large tears and chipping. Somebody went overboard with masking tape on the underside and in a price is penciled on the front flap. Overall condition of the book is graded as poor because the Frontispiece illustration is missing. Otherwise book would grade as good. Spine shows darkening and then there is a stain in the center of the front. Interior binding is good, no hinge cracks.
