New York: Henry Holt & Company, 1929. Hardcover. Complete set of six volumes, including the supplement, first edition, volumes 1-4 were published in 1928, last two volumes in 1929, 7.5x10 inch cloth boards with spine in gilt; photographic evidence and illustrations (guns, bullets, etc), two folding maps with aerial views of the Johnson House and Pearl Street, publisher's letter and index inlaid volume IV. Each volume contains a tiny rubberstamp of a red star on the back paste-down endpaper, some mild handling soil and toning on boards throughout, board edges and spine ends mildly shelfworn, corners lightly bumped on most volumes, spine is somewhat toned dimming the titling, fore-edges slightly toned with some soil and small scratches. Specifically, large damp stain soil on front board of the supplemental volume and front hinge starting, suspicious light speckles (foxing?) on vol. IV boards, else all volumes in very good condition.
