Light scuffing on boards, cape illustration on spine has some fading. Front inner hinge is cracked but secure, rest of binding is tight. Previous owner's inscription on front endpage, light toning, no DJ. An attractive book with color frontispiece.

Part of the Plain Text Series of English and American Literature, no date but probably circa 1940.Top corner is chipped, including pages. Heavy toning, short 1/8" tear on rear wrap. Stapled binding is secure.

Bobbs-Merrill Co., 1928. Edge wear on corners and spine ends, DJ has some edge wear, light chipping and toning. Light toning on pages, binding is secure. A nice vintage copy.

"Sustainers Edition" of 5,000 copies, with label pasted in. Light soiling on top of slipcase, binding is a little weak near the front but still tight overall. Includes publisher's insert.

Penguin, 1977, first thus. Introduction by Allen Ginsburg, photo of eye on cover. Some edge wear and toning, previous owner's name on front endpage, one page is creased. Binding is tight.
