Large folding map printed in black & red measuring approximately 23.5 inches by 33.25 inches (including margins) folding (as issued) into printed card covers measuring 8 inches by 4.5 inches. Covers with moderate edge wear & soiling, map lightly age toned, slightly foxed, with several small splits at fold intersects, otherwise Very Good. Quite uncommon, this map is not found in OCLC Worldcat as of 9/16/2021.

[Baltimore, Maryland]: B & O Railroad, May 23, 1943. Original stapled pamphlet measuring 8.75 inches by 8 inches folding to 8.75 inches by 4 inches (as issued) with 39 panels of text on 10 leaves. Includes a double-page map (8.75 inches by 16 inches) showing the routes of the railroad. Modest soiling, sporadic minor foxing & age browning, slight edge wear, otherwise Very Good. "On the B & O alone, there are nearly eleven thousand miles of track. Over this vast system the supply trains roll day and night. And 60,000 B & O workers are going to keep them rolling - till VICTORY!"

Moderate edge wear, wraps beginning to separate, soiling, folding map with 2 inch closed tear along one fold, otherwise good. Describes & illustrates sites, scenes, & cities from New Orleans to San Francisco along the Sunset Route of the Southern Pacific Company including San Antonio, the Rio Grande, Missions of Santa Barbara, Los Angeles, Yosemite, and Tahoe. The folding map depicts the route of railroad, including connections, & thus much of the Southwestern United States.

New York: C.S. Hammond & Company, no date, ca. 1930. Jigsaw puzzle, 95 pieces comprising paper printed in color on Upson board. Completed, the puzzle measures 12 inches by 9 inches. Included is the original two-piece box, the top piece duplicating the map.
Couple of pinholes in the corner pieces, slightly toned, box briefly rubbed, otherwise Very Good.
Shows civil divisions, towns, roads, railroads & more.

Los Angeles, California: Hill Map Company,1939. Original card covers (7.5" x 4"), with 12 pages providing "index to contents" plus 3 maps on a single sheet measuring 22 inches by 28 inches laid in. The maps are printed recto & verso in red & black & present a street map of Los Angeles with index on one side & maps of the western portion of L.A. & Auto Road map of Long Beach & vicinity on the other.Covers lightly age toned, with slight edge wear, otherwise Very Good. The map, once attached, now laid in, is lightly soiled & has a few tiny splits at fold intersects, otherwise Very Good.
Quite uncommon, OCLC locates a single copy at the University of California Los Angeles (accession number 38657118).

First edition. 8vo, xxxi & 843 pp, plus 54 unnumbered pages of plates (6 folding) including illustrations from photographs, charts, tables, & maps Publisher's gilt lettered blue cloth.Slight foxing affecting the edges of the textblock, brief offsetting at endpapers & pastedowns, trace of toning, otherwise very good.An exhaustive and profusely illustrated account presented in 5 parts: Conservation, Recreation, Education; Biological Sciences; Earth Sciences; Mathematical and Applied Sciences; Industry and Transportation.

London: Map Collectors' Circle, 1963 - 1965, numbers 1 through 20. First editions. Octavos (9.75" x 7.25"), variously paginated, profusely illustrated. Publisher's printed & decorated light card covers house in a pair of gilt-lettered maroon folding cloth cases. Prospectus & facsimile catalog laid-in.
Modest occasional edge wear, couple of creased corners, otherwise very good or better in rubbed cases with edge wear & some splitting at the folds.
The first 20 monographs of an eventual 110 relating to the field of historical cartography. The circle's mission was to "stimulate interest in and publish material on early printed maps, atlases, cartographers, etc."

Philadelphia: Anthony Finley, engraved by Young & Delleker, no date (circa 1824). Original copper-plate engraved map on thick paper with contemporary hand-coloring measuring approximately 8.5 inches by 11.25 inches on a 10.25 inch by 13.5 inch sheet. Removed from the Finley's New General Atlas. Upper margin trimmed close to neatline, light foxing & toning, offsetting on verso from adjacent map, otherwise Very Good or better. A lovely map with strong visual impact map showing 28 South Carolina counties which reflects the configuration prior to 1826. The state now has 46 counties. Finley's New General Atlas was issued seven times between 1824 & 1834.

Washington, D.C.: American Automobile Association, no date (circa 1940s). Original brochure, single sheet measuring 18 inches by 23.75 inches folding as issued to 9 inches by 4 inches, featuring map in color on the recto, which includes insets of Nashville, Tennessee & Asheville, North Carolina, with illustrated advertisements & descriptive text on the verso. Lightly soiled, couple of small splits at folds & nicks at fold intersects, easily Very Good or better. An attractive & uncommon map. The text covers "Principal Attractions," "The Environs," "Where to Stop," etc.

Large folding map measuring 20 inches by 42.75 inches including margins printed on light paper issued to accompany the Report of the Harbor and Land Commissioners for 1882. Modern archival reinforcement on the verso, moderately toned, couple of small stains, couple of nicks & short tears in the margins, tear (1.5") & unobtrusive loss at the lower left corner, still Very Good.
Quite uncommon, OCLC locates two copies only as of 6/1/2022 (accession number 9094065, Harvard; State Library of Massachusetts).

Covers soiled, with modest edge wear including a shallow loss in the upper margin, soiled & age toned, still Good or better. Map with small splits at fold intersects & a couple of short tears, still an attractive example.
Quite uncommon, OCLC locates a single copy for this year at Yale (accession number 54655780).
