Description:
Baltimore, Maryland: The Maull Company, apparently prepared for the Biltmore Hotel, no date [1913 per OCLC Worldcat]. Single sheet printed on thick card stock measuring approximately 9.25 inches by 12 inches folded twice vertically (as issued) to 9.25 inches by 4 inches, with illustration in color of the Biltmore Hotel on the front panel & street map of Manhattan comprising the entirety of one side.
Soiled & foxed mostly affecting the front & back panels, modest edge wear including two bruised corners, otherwise Very Good.
The rotating pointer riveted in center "will show you the exact location." Includes index to railroad terminals and steamship piers at the upper corners of the map, with indexes to streets, points of interest & department stores on the verso.
Quite uncommon, OCLC Worldcat locates four copies as of 10/13/2021 (accession number 32342187) at New York Historical Society Library, New York State Library, University of California, Berkeley, & University of Michigan.

Sextodecimo (6" x 5"), 63 pages including 8 full page hand colored illustrations plus 6 more in text. Publisher's green cloth lettered & decorated in gilt & blind. OCLC finds two copies of this imprint but several more with variation in publisher
Binding rubbed & soiled, modest fraying at spine extremities & corners, small loss & short closed tear at 2nd blank leaf, pages 15/16 with chipped corners (text unaffected), previous owner's name in pencil at first blank page & again in ink (dated 1863) at last blank page, brief youthful annotation in ink in the upper margin of the first page of text, foxing throughout, still Good or so.
A charming book, which is quite uncommon with original hand coloring, and the second title in the "Casket of Juveniles" series

Poughkeepsie, [New York]: Journal & Eagle Printing Establishment, 1846. first edition. Octavo (9" x 5.5"), 40 pages. Publisher's printed paper wraps, sewn. OCLC locates 9 physical copies as of 11/12/2023.
Lightly toned, foxed & soiled, slight edge wear, otherwise very good.
The upper wrap incorrectly provides year of publication as 1845, the title page correctly indicates 1846.
William H. Grant, Chief Engineer, New York Department of Public Parks, Bureau of Civil and Topographical Engineering, was instrumental in the construction of Central Park.

New York, 34th & Broadway: Macy's Furniture Department, ninth floor/ (R. H. Macy & Co.), no date, ca. 1920. Original die-cut brochure in the shape of a make-up box. Single sheet measuring approximately 16.75 inches by 8 inches folded twice to 8 inches by 6 inches, printed on medium card stock. The brochure opens to reveal 4 fabric samples behind die-cut windows & brief promotional text. Not found in OCLC as 7/22/2023.
Moderately soiled, slightly rubbed, brief evidence of erasure & a bit of foxing at the back panel, otherwise very good.
A very clever promotional piece which asks the eternal questions & provides solutions:
"What's wrong with your living room? Are the fabrics wrong? Is there too much of the same color? That won't happen when you buy sofas, and chairs at Macy's! Let our experienced salesmen help you buy pleasing and correct furniture now. Below is one of the many arrangements they will make for you. Take this home. Keep it as a guide."
