Lake Champlain, Vermont: Young Men's Christian Association of Vermont, volume xiv, numbers 1 to 16, 1924. Octavo (9" x 6"), 109 pages, occasional illustration from photographs & art work by F. Harrison Stafford & Robert E. Allen. Original stapled paper wraps. Moderately soiled, light edge wear including a closed tear (about 1.25") at rear cover, staples rusted causing minor staining, otherwise Very Good. Sixteen issues of the Abnaki Herald, the journal of the nation's oldest YMCA all boy's camp. The camp was founded by Byron Clark in 1901 and is still in existence today. The theme of the journal reflects the camp motto, "Help the Other Fellow."

Built in 1745 in Bowie, Belair Mansion was the home of Provincial Governor of Maryland, Samuel Ogle The estate bred thoroughbred race horses, including two Triple Crown winners, over the course of three centuries.

Publisher's light blue cloth lettered in gilt on the spine & decorated with the crest of the club on the upper cover, in printed dust jacket. A fine copy in very good dust jacket with modest edge wear & rubbing Published in conjunction with the club's 60th anniversary & replete with all the information expected in a history of an auspicious country club Additionally includes a fascinating chapter on the period of time between 1943 & 1945 during World War II when club membership was evacuated & the facility became "Area F," the primary training facility for the OSS, predecessor to the CIA.

Aldershot, [England]: printed by Gale & Polden, Wellington Works, 1918. Two leaves (7.75" by 10") folded once vertically forming 8 pages (2 blank), printed on card stock, with original mounted photograph depicting Welbeck Abbey on the front cover and, internally, a baseball scorecard and diagram for the match between Mansfield & Worksop from the Canadian Forestry Camps.
Folded once vertically as issued & twice horizontally (spurious), soiled, edge wear, brief pencil annotation on rear cover, once cord-bound, cording now failed, otherwise Good or so.

Havana, San Juan de Dios y Villegas: Impresos Martin, no date (ca. 1949). Illustrated brochure, bifolium (9.5" x 6.25"), 4 pages, with photographic illustration depicting General Wood, who founded the Fronton, & teammates at page 4.
Removed from a scrapbook leaving glue staining & scuffing at the upper margin of the last page, old folds, creasing, edge wear including a couple of short tears & small losses, good or so & still quite useful.
Presents "description & rules of the game" on pp. 2 & 3.
This fronton was established in 1901 by General Leonard Wood, then military governor of Cuba. The facility, now in ruins, closed in 1959 after the Cuban Revolution when Fidel Castro banned sporting or recreational events involving betting.

Binding lightly rubbed & soiled, upper cover a bit splayed, faint stain briefly affecting the upper margin (diminishing through p. 45), occasional minor foxing, previous owner's name in pencil at ffep, good or better.
