Condition: Very Good+ No dust jacket. 93 pp of crisp, white leaves with profuse b/w drawn illustrations throughout. No foxing. Prior owner attribution dated April 27, 1918 on front free endpaper from Glenn M. Hood to Mary Jane Nixon. (Glenn M. Hood is listed on page 92 among the roster of Clerical Force of Company K, 331st Infantry along with his picture on page 14.) This book is a very rare compilation of a training manual that prepared U. S. Army officers to go to WW I. It contains the Roster of the Third Officers Training School present at Camp Sherman near Chillicothe, Ohio. The book also contains b/w group photographs of the training officers and each of the Infantry and Battery training classes. The back cover has a small water stain near the bottom edge at the spine and the bottom outer edge corner is missing. Otherwise, in remarkable condition for its age and construction.
